Omar Ayache

Omar started his career in Financial Services in 1992 at SBC O’Connor (later UBS). He has extensive experience in derivatives, structured products, alternative assets and FX and Equities. Omar has worked for SBC/UBS and Goldman Sachs. Omar has an M.A. in Engineering from Pembroke College, Cambridge.

Stamatis Leontsinis
Partner, Quantitative Portfolio Manager and Researcher

Stamatis started his asset management career at Fulcrum Asset Management in 2010. He was principal quantitative strategist and portfolio manager of the Multi-Asset Volatility Fund. Stamatis has worked for RWC Partners in 2015 as the volatility and derivatives specialist in the Quantitative Strategies Division, and at the ICMA Centre at the University of Reading. Stamatis holds a Ph.D., and an M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Reading and a B.Sc. in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business.

Leila Kotlar-Bouget

Leila started her career in 2004 at BlueCrest Capital as Head of Client Services where she spent six years developing the Client Service team and managing global client relationships. She then joined CQS as Global Head of Client Service where she was responsible for creating and managing the dedicated Client Relations and Client Communications teams, working with existing and potential investors globally. Leila holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business (majoring in Finance) from the University of South Australia, graduating with Dean’s Merits.

Bojan Milicic

Bojan started his asset management career at Axa Rosenberg in 2001 where, as institutional sales director, he spent six years building the European institutional client base. Bojan has more than 15 years’ business development experience covering both institutional investors and consultants. He has worked for Axa Rosenberg, BlueCrest Capital Management and CQS. Bojan holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Economics from London School of Economics.

Nicolas Salloum

Nicolas started his career in 1982 at BAII (later BNP Paribas). He has extensive experience in corporate banking, credit structuring, asset management in long-only and alternative investments. Nicolas has worked in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific for BAII, Deutsche Bank and Citigroup and founded in 2004 NIYASA Capital, a multi-family office in Geneva. Nicolas has an M.B.A. in International Finance from the University of Paris Dauphine.

Konstantinos Bassias
Senior Director

Konstantinos started his career in 2000 at Zürcher Kantonalbank. He has extensive experience in advising ultra and high net worth individuals and institutional clients in Switzerland, Europe, and the Middle East. Konstantinos has worked for UBS, Credit Suisse, EFG, and Raiffeisen. He is an SAQ Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA) and holds an Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Business Administration, an Executive Post-Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Digital Finance from HWZ University in Zurich.

Samy Al-Habal

Samy started his career in Financial Services in 1996 at JP Morgan. He has extensive experience in asset management, equities, equity derivatives, fixed income and FX trading. Samy has worked in Geneva, New York and Riyadh for JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and UBS. Samy holds a double major in Business Administration and Psychology, as well as a Marketing Certificate from Webster University in Geneva.

Steve Smith

Steve started his career in 1986 at Bankers Trust. He has global management experience from both the investment banking and asset management industry. Steve has worked for Bankers Trust, SBC/UBS, Credit Suisse and BlueCrest. Steve has a B.A. in Law from Downing College Cambridge, where he currently serves on the investment committee.

Nour Tassabehji
Investment Director

Nour started her career in 2008 at Generation Alfa in Geneva. She has extensive international experience in wealth management, strategy and business development. Nour has also previously worked for Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, advising ultra high net worth individuals. Away from finance, Nour was a senior commercial manager for Parfums Christian Dior in the MENA region. Nour holds an MBA from INSEAD, a B.Sc. in Economics from Royal Holloway College, London, and an M.Sc. in Investment Management from Cass Business School in London.

Paul Feldman
Partner, Global COO

Paul started his career in 1987 at Goldman Sachs. He has broad experience of investment strategy and asset management operations in both multi-manager and single manager fund businesses. Paul has worked for Goldman Sachs, Safra Republic, Buttonwood, Langlade, Bluegold, Andurand, and Volpe Capital. Paul has a B.A. (Hons) in Mathematics and Management Studies from Brunel University.

Fares Bdeir

Fares started his career in 2006 at Merrill Lynch in Dubai. He has extensive experience in portfolio management, holistic financial planning, Capital and Private Markets as well as digital assets. Fares has worked for ABN AMRO Bank and LGT managing assets for private ultra-high net worth individuals. Fares is a Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA) by the SAQ Swiss Association and holds a Series 7 Certification by the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Fares has a B.Sc. in Business Studies with a Double Emphasis in Banking & Finance and Business Computers from the Lebanese American University.

Leticia Vuigner Arévalo
Compliance Assistant

Leticia started her career as a Legal Advisor in 2019 and also worked as a translator. She joined CdR Capital in December 2023 as a Compliance Assistant in the Wealth Management division. She is providing support to the Compliance team in our Geneva office. Leticia holds a Msc in International and European law and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Geneva.

Fayez Nassar

Fayez started his career in Financial Services in 2002 at JP Morgan and later on worked for Goldman Sachs. Prior to his career in finance, he worked as a Civil Engineer for a leading construction and engineering company in the United States. He has extensive experience in wealth and asset management advising ultra high net worth individuals and family offices. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Masters in Project Management from Northwestern University, and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London.

Sabrina Tazi-Riffi
Investment Director

Sabrina started her career in Financial Services in 1997 with JP Morgan. She has extensive experience in Active Portfolio Advisory working with private clients as well as family offices. Sabrina has worked for Morgan Stanley and UBS. Sabrina holds a Masters in Banking and Finance from HEC University in Lausanne.

Philippe Sikias

Philippe started his career in 1999 at Merrill Lynch International Bank in London. He has extensive experience in wealth and asset management in addition to the real estate and TMT sectors. Philippe has worked for Merrill Lynch, Safe Host, Morgan Stanley and UBS. Philippe has a B.Sc. in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University as well as an M.B.A. in International Management from HEC University in Geneva.

Caroline Greenwald
Non-Executive Director of CdR Capital SA (Switzerland)

Caroline started her career in finance over 25 years ago and is currently Co-Managing Member and Managing Partner at P. Schoenfeld Asset Management (PSAM), where she has worked since 2002. She has extensive experience in hedge funds and is a leading expert in the US alternative industry. She offers wide-ranging experience spanning the international regulatory and investment landscape. Prior to PSAM, she was with Reuters Limited from 1997 to 2002 where she held a number of positions including Director of Business Development in the Telecommunications space. Caroline graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics.

Jessica Richardson
Office Manager

Jessica started her career in Financial Services in 2013 at Acuma. She has extensive experience in office management, executive administration and human resources. Jessica has worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Etihad Airways and Aviva. Jessica has a Certification in Human Resource and Recruitment and completed her studies in Plunket College, Ireland.

Baptiste Loyer
Junior Trader

Baptiste began his career in the Asset Management industry in 2021. He has experience in trading and coding in a variety of advanced-level languages and won the Morgan Stanley 2023 UK 'Hackathon'. He has worked for the HKU Blockchain & Trading Group, CIC Bank, the Imperial Investment Fund, and Morgan Stanley. Baptiste holds a double Master's in Mathematical and Computational Engineering and Financial Technology from Imperial College London and IMT Atlantique, as well as a double BSc degree in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from the University of Paris and Preparatory Class.

James Horrocks
Partner, Head Of Trading, Chief Technology Officer

James started his career in 1994 at the Banque Nationale de Paris in London. He is an experienced global multi-asset trader and trading technology specialist. James has also worked for Société Générale, JP Morgan, DRKW, Man Group, Fulcrum Asset Management and Iceberg. James has a B.A. in Economics from Sussex University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Economics and Finance from Bristol University.

Faysal Badran
Senior Advisor to the CdR Capital SA Board (Switzerland)

Faysal started his career in Financial Services in 1989 at Chase Manhattan Bank. He has extensive experience in investments, corporate strategy, and M&A. Faysal has worked for Bankers Trust, UBS, the Middle East Capital Group, the National Commercial Bank (NCB) and the Savola Group. Faysal has a B.A. in Economics from DePauw University and has completed graduate and executive programs at the University of Chicago and INSEAD. He is a member of the Market Technicians Association.

Jenny Hennessy

Jenny started her career in 1998 as a UK litigation and real estate solicitor. Since 2006, she has run single and multi-family office platforms, attending to all of her clients’ structuring, finance, trust and governance needs, as well as overseeing compliance and MLRO functions. Jenny has worked for the Louvre Group as a director and Reliance Trust as a senior manager. Jenny has an undergraduate degree in French and European studies from Queen Mary and Westfield London University and is a qualified UK solicitor.

Athanasios Bolmatis
Partner, Head of Quantitative Investments & Strategies

Athanasios started his investment career at Fulcrum Asset Management in 2006, leading quantitative research in alternative beta/risk premia strategies. He oversaw their quantitative products and was a member of the risk committee. Most recently, Thanos was Partner and the Head of the Quantitative Strategies Division at RWC Partners. He has held research positions at the University of California in Los Angeles and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Thanos holds a Ph.D. in Economics from UCLA and a B.A. and M.Sc. in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business.

Dilbagh Singh
Operations Manager

Dil started his career in the Asset Management industry in 2016. He has extensive experience across Middle Office including Investment Support, Operations, Fund Accounting and Oversight of Third Parties. He has worked for Liontrust Asset Management and Raymond James, and holds the Investment Management Certificate from CFA UK and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Aston Business School.

Sara Cattano
Investment Associate

Sara started her career in 2001 at Credit Suisse in investment banking. She joined Atlas Capital (now Sciens Capital Management) in 2006 as client services and product development officer, went on to Caliburn Capital Partners as a research analyst and investment manager. Most recently, she has worked at SKD Wealth Management and Edmond de Rothschild (Suisse) in Geneva. Sara holds a MSc. in Business Administration from Bocconi University.

Jérôme van Eck Duymaer van Twist
Investment Analyst

Jérôme joined CdR Capital in early 2022 as an Investment and Compliance Assistant in the Wealth Management division, after having successfully defended his thesis and performed an internship at CdR Capital. He is providing support to our Compliance and Investment teams in our Geneva office. Jérôme holds a Msc in Finance with a focus on Asset and Risk Management from HEC Lausanne School of Business and Economics.

Caroline Burel
Client Associate

Caroline started her career in Financial Services in 2006 at Morgan Stanley in Geneva. She has extensive experience with Ultra High Net Worth individuals from multiple jurisdictions mainly supporting relationship managers and investment advisers. More recently, Caroline worked for UBS Wealth Management. Caroline holds a Master degree from the HEC University of Geneva.

Emma Johansson
Office Manager

Emma Johansson started her career in Financial Services in 2011 at Trans-Fast Remittance (London) Ltd and has extensive experience in back office operations, administration and compliance. Emma has an ICA Diploma in Compliance awarded in conjunction with the Alliance Manchester Business School, the University of Manchester.

Richard Tyte
Head of Risk

Richard started his career in financial services in 1997 at Credit Suisse, where he was a Director in the Prime Services Risk function, responsible for margin lending to hedge fund clients. Richard then joined CQS where he was responsible for the risk management of a number of hedge and long only funds, across multiple asset classes. He has extensive experience in market, counterparty and liquidity risk management. Richard holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Clare College, Cambridge.

Celine Everton
Office Manager

Celine started her career in Financial Services in 2009. Her operational experience includes technology, office management and administration, marketing and recruitment. Celine has worked for companies such as COFRA, Standard Chartered Bank and Edmond de Rothschild. Celine graduated from the University of Caen in France with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Foreign Languages.

Mark Rushton
Non-Executive Director of CdR Capital Limited (Dubai)

Mark started his career in 1984 in Law before moving to Finance. He has global management experience in wealth management, investment banking and consulting. Mark was worked for Mitsubishi Trust, UBS (Warburg), Cazenove, BNP Paribas and was CEO and CIO  of Walker Crips Group. Mark has held many Director and Trustee positions and is a member of Council of The University of Buckingham and of Radley College, as well as being a prep-school Governor and a medical charity Trustee. Mark has a Masters of Arts in Law (Hons) from Downing College Cambridge.

Hoda Barakat
Non-Executive Director of CdR Capital Limited (Dubai)

Hoda started her legal career in 1991 as an attorney. She has extensive commercial law experience and is specialised in Intellectual Property (IP) and Information Technology (IT) law and advises private clients and governments in strategic high level legal matters and issues. Hoda started her career in a boutique London firm and then moved to Dubai to lead the IP/IT team of the largest non-affiliated law firm in the region. She later became Managing Partner of the same firm where she was responsible for multiple offices, 130 lawyers and 300 employees. She currently runs her own practice, Hoda Barakat Legal Consultancy (HB Legal). Hoda has an Honors Degree, Bachelor of Arts (Law) and an M.A in Law both from Clare College, University of Cambridge UK.

Yves Hervieu-Causse
Non-Executive Director of CdR Capital SA (Switzerland)

Yves started his career in 1982 in Law before moving to Finance. He has experience in wealth management, private banking, asset management, servicing families and also offers a wide spectrum of compliance and distribution services to the asset management industry in Switzerland via the companies he founded Aforge Finance and Hugo Fund Services SA. Yves has worked for Banque Unigestion SA, Unigestion Asset Management, Aforge Finance, Hugo Fund Services (now Acolin Holding AG). Yves is currently a member of the Board for Procimmo SA, the Football Business Academy SA and Hugo Partners Holding SA. Yves has a degree in Law from the Université de Genève and a Masters in Law  from New York University.
